You are invited to become a regular personal member of the Tennessee Hospital Association.

Regular personal membership is available to individuals who are employed by an institutional member of THA (most hospitals in Tennessee are institutional members of the association). Dues are $30 annually.

Membership benefits include:

• An annual subscription to Tennessee Hospitals and Health Systems, THA’s monthly membership newsletter. This publication includes information about state and federal legislation, issues, rules and regulations; THA programs, activities and services; an educational calendar of events; standards, programs and services of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations; and staff changes at hospitals and health systems.



• Special e-mails and mailings on important issues. THA sends information to members on topics such as the TennCare program, disaster preparedness and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.



• A special invitation to attend THA’s Annual Meeting. This conference spotlights national speakers and education sessions on current healthcare topics. The meeting also features one of the largest state hospital association exhibit shows in the U.S. In addition, approximately 19 allied and affiliate healthcare organizations hold concurrent education programs during the THA annual meeting each year.



• An opportunity to serve on THA councils, committees and task forces. Personal members are eligible to be appointed to the nursing, data and government affairs councils, special committees and task forces.



• Access to THA staff. Personal members may contact THA staff for assistance and information on numerous topics such as legislation, regulations, data, finance and reimbursement, clinical, workforce, communications and marketing. In addition, the association offers a variety of consulting services and programs through THA Solutions Group, Inc., its subsidiary.
