The Mission of Rural Health
THA's Rural Health Issues section is dedicated to promoting rural health in Tennessee through advocacy, education, communication, resource development, recruitment assistance, specialized technical assistance for rural hospitals and the development of inter-organizational relationships.

A primary focus of Rural Health is the Critical Access Hospital (CAH) program, an alternative for rural hospitals that offers enhanced reimbursement and opportunites to better match a hospital's capabilities with a community's needs.
